As reported by 9 News, a Western Australian Police Officer is accused of causing a four car pile up while Drink Driving in Perth recently.
The off duty officer allegedly triggered a chain reaction collision when driving near Perth Airport.
The officer allegedly blew over the permissible blood alcohol limit and has been stood down from operational duties.
Although the officer is still yet to be formally charged.
Queenslanders charged with first time Drink Driving face up to a lifetime loss of licence, depending upon their blood alcohol concentration reading, but may be eligible to apply for a work licence allowing them to continue driving during their licence disqualification if their reading is 0.149 or below, and certain other prerequisites are met.
